I am Sujoy Kumar Kar.
I was born on 3rd January, 1979 in a small historical town, Midnapur in West Bengal, India.
Until
1987 December I studied in a little school , "Children's Happy Home" in my town.
Then in 1988 January I went
to Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia. There I spent my 7 years.
In May 1995 , I went to Ramakrishna
Mission Residential College Narendrapur. I gratuated from high school in 1997.
In September 1997,
I went to Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. The next 4 years was the best time in my life. I graduated in 2001 with
a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Department.
In September 2001 I came
to USA for my PhD in Materials Science & Engineering in The Ohio State University, Columbus.
And
there are lots of stories after that.........
It is September, 2006 now. I started building this web home in 2001; I stopped in the last paragraph, that was
2001. The picture of mine was taken 5 years ago.
I have come back to continue building this webhome with my life story.
I finished my PhD from The Ohio State University in July, 2005. I came back to India immediately and joined GE Global Research
Center. A quick one year it has been in Bangalore.
I got married in May, 2006. My wife's name is Soumi. She is a doctor by profession, a very sweet beautiful girl with a great
mind.
